Informations techniques - More and more is being asked of cutting ring couplings as heavier applications in hydraulic systems become more common. The cutting ring is one of the most important components in such systems. The ES4 cutting ring from Voss plugs the gap between the 2S cutting ring and the Vossform and Voss BV10 flange couplings. Voss has used the 2S cutting ring as the basis for development and added a Viton seal ring to both the inside and the outside. The result after assembly is a leak-free coupling owing to the fact that the seals compensate for any cracks that may form during assembly. In addition, the zinc-nickel surface treatment for which this coupling is known delivers excellent protection against corrosion.
- The cutting ring is assembled using a standard swivel nut from the "L" or "S" production series.
